If you are fat then you obviously need to eat more calories than if you were slim. - Don't let any foolish person tell you that you need to eat less!

Foolish people sometimes tell you that you should eat less food/fewer calories than your body requires - that you can live off 'your fat'. - This is nonsense. When you eat less than your body requires, your body has to try to live off itself. - So your bones will get weaker, your skin will become thinner, your nails will weaken, you will lose some hair (which will not return...)o:) - And you will GAIN weight, because your blood vessel walls will get thinner and weaker, and thus your blood vessels will hold more water, and the increased fluid retention will increase your weight.

Here are the facts:

Obesity is actually caused not by overeating, but by fluid retention/salt sensitivity and can easily, swiftly AND SAFELY be reduced by avoiding salt and salty food.

Lose weight, reduce your risk of most cancers, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, stroke, heart disease, vascular dementia, osteopenia, osteoporosis, hypercholesterolaemia, depression, liver and kidney problems, and improve your health in many other ways without drugs or expense by eating less salt! - Try it! - You will feel so much better!
