This BBC News article reports on the latest research from CASH (Consensus Action on Salt and Health) into the salt levels in commercially produced curries. CASH found that the salt levels tend to be very high indeed, exceptions being the Co-operative's Healthy Living Rogan Josh and Weightwatcher's Korma, which had just 0.5g per portion.

Opting for cheaper salt laden ready meals and takeaways (cooking nutritious real meals is not the norm) will only make the situation worse over the coming years of austerity.
