He had inherited high intelligence. His conditioning fostered courageous self-reliance, and formal education continued the good work. Among many talents, most acclaimed was his racing prowess.
One day, during an endurance race he halted, sensing an imminent storm.
“Damn those pigeons!” shouted an irate householder, and shot him dead.
