'Slimming' - by which I mean eating less food than your body requires - can lead to many problems - and it will not make you slimmer...

Overweight/Obesity is caused by sodium retention/fluid retention/salt sensitivity, not by eating too much food. It can be easily reduced by cutting down on salt/sodium and salty food. - If you do not eat enough food you will become cold, tired and hungry, and over time your skin and your bones will become thinner and weaker, making you more vulnerable to fractures, injury and pain. You will suffer hair loss. You may develop type 2 diabetes and other chronic health problems. - But reducing calories does not reduce fluid retention, so you will not lose excess weight. - Here is some helpful information:

Lose weight safely, reduce your risk of most cancers, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, stroke, heart disease, heart attack, vascular dementia, osteopenia, osteoporosis, hypercholesterolaemia, depression, liver and kidney problems, and improve your health in many other ways without drugs, hunger or expense by eating less salt! - Try it! - You will feel so much better!
