Being bullied or insulted because you're fat?

Here's what to do.
All that any overweight person needs to do to lose a lot of excess weight is to give up dieting and concentrate on reducing the fluid retention that is the cause of overweight/obesity. This entails cutting down on salt/sodium and eating plenty of fruit and unsalted vegetables. In practice, the best way to do this is to avoid ready meals, takeaways and processed food, and instead to cook from fresh. But you don't need to count calories and you don't need to eat low-fat, sugar-free diet junk. - Eat real food, and don't go hungry. - Just avoid salt/sodium and salty food.

Here is a helpful page of information for you:
Sodium in foods

and FAT RETENTION

  1. One should try to be as healthy as possible, and if you are "overweight", one way to be healthier is to give up fad diets (which includes most diets), stop obsessing about your weight--and avoid people who would like to insult you about your weight. That will only add more stress to your life, which isn't healthy for anyone, fat or thin.

  2. One other thing: I agree that for those who are retaining excessive amounts of fluid (which includes many people who are also very fat), to ignore the salt connection is to take your life into your own hands. Excess salt seems to be a killer, especially to susceptible individuals, and it is often an overlooked factor in "obesity". Willow is on to something.

Excessive salt combined with water retention can be especially risky to people who have compromised respiratory systems (asthma, COPD, allergy, etc.) It can make their breathing more shallow, among other things.
