"Emergency officials had to knock down Jose Luis Garza's bedroom wall and put him in the back of a friend's pickup truck as he fought for his life. The 47-year-old was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital in northern Mexico.
Mr Garza followed in the footsteps of the world's fattest man, fellow Mexican Manuel Uribe of Monterrey, by taking his weight problem public. Mr Garza lived about an hour away from Mr Uribe in the town of Juarez.
Mr Garza said he had always struggled with his weight but fell into a cycle of depression and overeating nine months ago after his parents died of natural causes within two weeks of each other. He had been bedridden for four months.
Mr Garza's condition deteriorated over the weekend as he struggled to breathe and eat."
Poor fellow. - What a difficult life he must have had! - Obviously no-one ever told him that his problem was fluid retention (that is why it was so difficult for him to breathe) and that he needed to avoid salt and salty food. - Instead he will have constantly been told that he was 'overeating' and will have been bullied into dieting, when obviously extremely heavy people need more food than normal-sized people as they had heavier bodies to move and to service and bigger surface areas from which to lose heat.
Almost certainly his problem will have originated with some prescribed medication when he was young, and will have been compounded by not being told that he needed to avoid sodium. And dieting will have made things even worse. - Dieting is very harmful.
Fluid retention in people who have become sensitive to salt is the cause of obesity, and it is fluid retention that needs to be addressed, yet it is rarely if ever mentioned or considered by the highly-paid clueless, useless experts...)o:
Pretty obvious really, isn't it? - If you are suffering from fluid retention/water retention, you must be overweight. - Right? - It is salt/sodium that holds that excess liquid in your body. - Cut down on salt and the fluid retention will get less - and so, just like magic, you will lose some of your excess weight...(o: - without drugs, without hunger, without dieting, without endangering your health, without counting calories...
